Within one week, our team designed and prototyped Whiggle, a rocking seat made from honeycomb cardboard. I developed a generative Grasshopper algorithm to control slice spacing and material thickness, which allowed us to quickly refine the design. I also worked on shaping the seat in Rhino 3D and preparing the files for laser cutting in Illustrator. The final chair combines an organic form with the geometric honeycomb structure, assembled easily through a plug-in system.
Used software: Rhino 3D, Grasshopper, Adobe Illustrator
